If only you could scratch and sniff your screen right now, because the beautiful floral scent of this 21st birthday celebration was simply divine.
Set within the Flower Merchant on Bourke Street, buckets of fresh blooms lined the walls, concrete columns and amplified the high ceilings of this unique space. The floral was certainly the focal point for this setting, whilst the table and décor was kept clean, simple and modern. What better setting for a lover of flowers and nature.
A special birthday celebration, this intimate candlelit dinner for 40 will be sure to be remembered by all.
Summer fun is brought to life through this event! Inspired by the local strip of shops down at the beach, retro versions of milk bars, bakeries and lolly shops are graphically represented through bright signage and over-the-top propping. Kids run between the juice station and the ‘beach’ (complete with sand, deck chairs and umbrellas) with bags of lollies in hand, while a gradient of rainbow balloons tumble from the roof of the house, spilling onto the lawn.
Come on in and have a wander around this retro Summer strip of shops, created right in the backyard of a beautiful home in Red Hill.
Feminine florals was the brief for this party celebrating the proud christening of a beloved baby girl. A simple long table outside adorned with statement floral centrepieces set the scene for this ultra chic luncheon.
The tablecloth and napkins were hand chosen and made from designer fabrics, layers of pink and clashing prints gave this setting both depth and beauty. The plates, handmade by an Australian artesian, were made from classic doilies pressed into the pottery and organically hand moulded to create a unique and one-of a kind setting. The staff wore custom made aprons that were made from a complementing pink block printed fabric and complete with thick grosgrain ribbon steps.
Naturally everything had to be pink, even down to the menu, as guests were served a pink entrée of pickled vegetable salad, followed by confit salmon and asparagus and a pink semi-naked cake and ombre dessert buffet to complete the occasion.
Worlds away from the glitz and glamour of the Amalfi coast, the region of Puglia retreats in Italy’s heel of the boot. Part of the charm of Italy’s Puglia region is its slow approach to everyday life.
Inspired by a recent holiday to the Puglia region, this family was captivated by the century-old farmland and dark ancient olive groves hemmed in by superb sun-bleached sandy costs and rugged cliffs, and thus it formed the inspiration for their family celebration.
This party encapsulated the true authentic Italy; artesian pottery and ceramics, understated style and sophistication, and delicious homemade food.
The region of Puglia is the home of orecchiette pasta (little ears), and it is common to see in the morning sun generations of women sitting at tables making this typical Apulian pasta. Naturally, this quintessential local delicacy was served to guests along with other Apulian heritage specialties.
Fabulous and decadent; there’s no other way to celebrate the birthday of Chyka Keebaugh than a spectacular showstopper event at Ormond Collective.
Think bearded men in designer dresses, moving garden statues, opulent entertainers, lavish styling – all the bells and whistles and some. A soirée of the finest order with a dash of risqué chic, this was one unforgettable party.
Inspired by the eccentric sensibilities of Italian heiress, Marchesa Luisa Casati; guests of Chyka’s were invited to embellish themselves in the Powder Room before stepping into the courtyard (aka Pleasure Garden) and beyond. A mystical hidden gin den, a pop-up patisserie and sweets salon – it was a sensory experience fit for a Queen, and so it was.
Celebrating the Queen of Parties in royal style, the tale of Chyka’s Birthday Party at Ormond Collective is one photos cannot fully capture, although we tried.
Nobody likes a dress up more than we do. Well that’s what we thought until we met this particular client many years ago. We had always thought we went all out, but these guys are just in another league.
Being theatrical by nature they do nothing by halves, we’re talking costume, couture, and serious film make-up. They’re one of the most fun clients to collaborate with and learn from.
A significant birthday and a serious passion for horror led us to a scarily amazing party. We created this fantastic marquee filled with all things horror, you name it, we had it; cob webs, dead flowers, tomb stones, skulls skeletons, projections, performers and spooky fog. It really was fantastic, but it was our guests who truly brought the magic to the night.
We’re lucky to say that the guests on this particular night went all out, there was not a single lady or gentleman in the room who wouldn’t give Heidi Klum or Seal’s legendary Halloween dress up skills a run for their money.
We are of the thinking that when people dress up for a party they are also dressing up their personality and that’s when the real fun starts. In this vain, we love dressing Team TBG staff in costume, they always seem to work faster sharper and funnier. And who doesn’t love it when the boss has a quick Hanibal Lecter moment.
