Inspired by the stunning setting of the Palais Theatre, the Virgin AFL All Australian Awards 2019’s styling fused together the opulence of the theatre surround with touches of AFL and Virgin’s brand colours.
The rich red velvet stage drapes, ornate gold detail of the stage surrounds and Juliet balconies are visualised through a series of thoughtfully curated tablescapes.
Cecilia Fox combined dark, sultry foliage with pops of intense red floral to tie all elements together.
Dramatic and prominent, the ideal setting for these prestigious awards.
For the Cartier exhibition launch at the National Gallery of Australia, Cartier hosted an exclusive black-tie dinner with an A-list guestlist adorned with celebrities and royalty. The exhibition explored Cartier’s awe-inspiring collection of over 300 jewellery pieces worn by their glittering international clientele that included royalty, aristocrats, socialites, and stars of the stage, cinema and music.
The red-carpet launch event for the iconic French jewellery house had to be every bit luxe, sophisticated and more. From the moment guest stepped onto the red carpet they were welcomed by Cartier bellhops, ready to treat guests to a royal service.
Inside, Gandel Hall was transformed into a vision of red, one of Cartier’s infamous brand elements, with accents of glamorous gold. A grand piano embellished the centre of the room and became the focal point for the evening’s elite entertainment.
Experts in tall-orders, The Big Group delivered a seamless premium dining experience that uniformed the brand’s reputation and helped amplify the royal occasion.
It was a night of glitz and glamour as Virgin Australia hosted it’s AFL Grand Final party. And what a party it was – ballerinas on the bar, ballroom dancing silent discos, a champagne and caviar bar, edible perfume and of course Virgin Australia cabin crew representing in their red uniforms.
It’s the biggest night on the AFL social calendar; where over 600 guests including footy stars, club coaches and celebrity A-list stars let their hair down and the beer and champagne flows.
The event featured world-class international cuisine, created by The Big Group, entertainment from Australian group Sneaky Sound System and a host of other event engaging elements and activations.
Corporate Family days are the perfect way for employees and clients to relax and enjoy a day out with their families while bonding with their colleagues in a casual environment, and this family day at a private residence in Merricks was no exception.
Employees and their families were invited to go apple bobbing, compete in potato sack races, play arcade style games or challenge each other to a game of giant outdoor chess. For those that wanted a little more of a creative outlet, the ‘potting shed’ provided an opportunity for kids (and adults!) to get their craft on; painting terracotta pots before planting the seedling of their choice to take home with them.
This fully bespoke theme-park style event would not have been the same without an array of pop-up food activations and stations. There was something for everyone; a schnitz bar with schnitzel wraps and burgers, a delicatessen laden with cured meats and picked delicacies and a bakery sporting all the old-time favourites like homemade pies and sausage rolls to brownies and lamingtons.
A tepee tent decked out with wicker furniture and sisal rugs set the perfect place to mingle and relax as the sun went down.
